In 2015, I was tasked with creating potential book covers for the chairman of reed.co.uk, who wanted to present 3 book ideas to publishers. The goal was to come up with a variety of concepts within a few hours. These are a selection of the 20 designs I produced during that afternoon. It’s important to note that these are not final versions and typography was not a priority in the creation process. My favorite among them is the bottom left, which is inspired by the “Room 101” concept from George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four.
