During my time at Rated People (2016–2022), I was responsible for designing and building responsive email newsletters aimed at inspiring homeowners to take on home improvement projects. These emails, created in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, featured custom-built, reusable content blocks, often with animated header images, and bespoke themes, including seasonal and ad-hoc campaigns like the Jubilee email shown below. The layouts were responsive, accessible, and mobile-friendly, with clean stacking blocks, and mobile-optimised images. The goal was to drive engagement through clear calls to action, encouraging users to visit the Rated People app or website to post jobs and connect with trusted tradespeople. These campaigns played a key role in boosting homeowner activity and generating high-quality leads for our trade professionals.
